I’m really going to let this scene speak for itself, since a lot happens in it I’ll have more to say on it later on.

Some housekeeping is in order, however:

This Thursday (11 September 2014) I will be an exhibitor at the second annual Art Mix | Crocker Con at the Crocker Art Museum in downtown Sacramento.  The event is from 5-9pm and admission is $10 for most folks, though it’s free for members of the Museum as well as for those who decide to dress up in costume (though, for decency’s sake, I would recommend against dressing up like Long John at this point––a person in long johns carrying around a revolver may not do well in an urban environment). College students get $2 off the admission price.

A lot of fantastic local artists will be there, and it will be nice to see them again––Melissa Pagluica and her comic, Above the Clouds, will be a big hit (as usual, her stuff is amazing); Jon Williams will be representing B-Squad along with series writer, Eben Burgoon (co-creator of Eben07); Jared Konopitski, a fantastic, fun painter; the wonderful illustrator, Sarah Rene Straub; Hai-Na-Nu “Nooligan” Salque will be representing his comic, Union St. Choir (which just started a Kickstarter campaign); among many other, very talented Sacramento-based folks.

So, if you can make it, come on by, I’ll be at booth 11 selling a Preview Edition of the first 10 pages of Long John and giving away bookmarks and flyers for my nerdy discussion podcast, For All Intents and Purposes (subscribe today on iTunes!).
