It has been 140 pages since they last met––coincidentally, this page marks page 150 of Long John overall!––and it seems a lot has changed.

This is kind of one of “the” moments of the story––the moment when Long John and Hellrider Jackie meet again. Personally, it was a lot of pressure and another instance where a lot of drafts of this conversation were written, scrapped, written, and rewritten.

Things get intense from here. I’m going to shut up and let the next scene do the talking.
